Chaplain Harness served with the Homecroft Police Department from 2000 through 2008. He returned to serve as our Chaplain in 2010 and remained in that position until his passing.
Chaplain Harness was well known among various members of the Homecroft Police Department as someone who was willing to give anything and everything. Even when facing health issues he continued to serve, most recently assisting during our annual Halloween Trick or Treat detail.
Outside of the department, Chaplain Harness was involved with the Civil Air Patrol and was also affiliated with WNTS radio as a part-time announcer and show participant.
